Hello from SE TN!

I like to tinker and have been a DIYer for a long time.

I have done some wood working projects here and there and most come out "ok" given the minimal tools that I have available.

Now I want to build a desk to hold a couple computers and monitors to go in my basement office.

I plan to buy a Kreg K4 to use with my desk project.

Now I just need a good plan.

Anyone know if the full plans for the Kreg "student desk" are still available?

I have searched all over and so far have only found a partial plan.

I would appreciate any information anyone has concerning these plans.

Thank you,

Joe

Howdy all,

Gerald is my name and I'm new to the woodworking world.  Hope to gain a lot of information from you all here. I live in the Ozark's of Missouri where there are a lot of hardwood mills around.  Hoping to get the jig soon to ease the pain of joints.

My name is Chris. I'm from Edmonds Wa, about 5 minutes North of Seattle. I'm a novice woodworker. I'm hoping to be able to pick people's brains on the forum for advice. I've built only a few pieces but I'm very proud of them. I've included a pic of a craft table I built my wife about 5 years ago. I saw the table at Pottery Barn and they wanted $1,500 for it. I have a Kreg K4 and K5. I'm also looking to get ideas for other projects to make.

My name is Duff and I worked in a custom woodworking shop for a year about 20 years ago. I have been a nurse for 33 year and am semi-retiring in February. i've truly missed woodworking and have started to gather up tools to I can enjoy my time away from nursing. Hoping to gather a lot of information here.

That's a great looking table Chris! Excellent work.

Hello, my name is James. I live in Eugnene Oregon. I'm a finish carpenter. I love working with my hands building and fixing stuff. I've been wanting to build cabinets for a little while and recently purchased a Kreg Jig. Stumbled upon your community while researching cabinet building. Hey Everyone,

My name is Brent, I currently live in Kennesaw GA, but formerly from NJ. I have been doing some basic woodworking throughout the years but recently I was doing some home repair projects and decided to pick up a Kreg Jig Master kit, I didn't realize what I was getting myself into.  I've had other pocket jigs in the past but the Kreg is the best, so now I am getting into it a little more woodworking and looking for more projects to create and work on. I look forward meeting you and getting a lot of information here.

Hello, my name is Karla and I am a blogger at www.smalltownrambler.com. I enjoy doing DIY projects and decorating our 60's home on a budget. Not only do I enjoy doing these projects, but I like to learn from other bloggers and hope to inspire others to get the courage to try their own projects by walking them through the process, step-by-step, on my blog. I recently purchased the Kreg Jig K4 and completed our dining table made from reclaimed wood and I am already on to my next project with the Kreg Jig! I wish I had purchased this tool a long time ago. Thanks for having me here in the Kreg owner's community!

Hello all! My name is Elliott. I live in Vancouver, BC. I have pretty much no experience in wood working yet. My wife and I recently bought a coffee table and after getting it home I sat and looked at it and thought "I could build that..." So, after a little trial and error in the garage trying to drill pocket holes (I didn't know they were called that at the time) I made crude bench out of scrap 2x4's. So I did a little research I found out that a Kreg Jig would be a must to do this type of work properly. I have been a video game artist for 15 years, and everything I make is just a graphic for a game. Now I want to make something real! My first project will be the work bench that I will use to make everything else on. looking forward to it!

Hello Everyone.....my name is Bob Fisher and I live in Central New York.  Became fully retired this year.  I have done numerous handyman projects around the house and for others.  Being retired I now have more time to dedicate to various projects.  My daughter is currently remodeling their kitchen and needed a new 30 inch wide double wall oven cabinet to replace their old 27 inch wide cabinet.  I purchased the Kreg K4 master system and I figured lets give it a try.  I designed and built the cabinet to meet the new oven dimensions and specifications. Used 3/4 inch birch plywood for the carcass and trimmed the face frames with poplar.  Even built a drawer for below the oven.  Needless to say my daughter is thrilled with how it looks and the money she saved compared to buying at the big box stores....I just guess that's what Dad's do.  The Kreg jig rocks!

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
