I loved woodworking and have some experience in building my kitchen cabinets. I just bought the Kreg DIY Project Kit to start a big project to build my living room. I quite interested in built in project for shelves or cabinets and looking forward to being a part of this community.

Hello, my name is Joe Wick and I live in the South Carolina "Low Country". I've been a DIY'er for years but am just getting into pocket hole joinery. I'm also " Car Guy" with 2 Corvettes in my garage. I'll be using my Kreg R3 to build cabinets and shelving for the garage.

Hi, My name is Doug Wiley and I'm in Boise, ID.  I'm brand new to this world of Kreg and so far absolutely love it.  I would have started building furniture years ago if I had known about this tool.  I have built a King size headboard so far and plan on starting nightstands soon.

Hi, My name is Mark and I am from Brisbane, Australia. Just bought a K5 and am in the process of building my first project.

Hi All,

Steve from Queensland Australia here. I have the Kreg K5 kit which I used to make some cabinets, a bookcase and a shop stool. I have done a fair bit of metal work but am relatively new to wood work.

Hi Mark,

Michael Here,

I'm Taree NSW .

I have a K4 and a K5 , they are great pieces to have in your tool box.

Its nice to find another aussie on the page.

Maybe we can talk tricks some day.

If ever down my way drop in.

Hello, My name is Dick and I live in Kennesaw, Georgia. I have been doing woodwork off and on over the years and retiring June 30 and have decided it is time to get back into it. Only recently purchased the Kreg Jig and ready to get started with it. I believe this will be agreat hobby in retiement, don't have a clue what I want to build.

Welcome Steve,

There are a few Aussies on the site here that I know of, possibly a bit hard to find without trawling through the members tab, Jock Sloan and I are in Brisbane.

Then there is Rachel some where around and Philip Sharp too, (he actually has a metric Kreg Jig)

I see Michael in Taree here too now so there is another one to add to the list

Its an interesting and informative site as you have just discovered. Post some info and you will always get a reply or two no matter what.

Enjoy

HI Everyone;  I was introduced to Kreg Joinery last summer. Am impressed with the strength. My daughter now needs me to build her two twin size loft beds for the young teen boys, that have a desk underneath, storage etc. to save room in the boys bedroom. Want to be able to assemble in panels once we get it inside the room as they have a small house with narrow halls.

Can anyone lead me towards some plans for at least a part of this project, then perhaps I can modify and combine into what she needs for my grandsons.
