Hello, My name is Steve and I live in North West area of MN.  I have a passion for working with wood and building items around the house.  I have joined the Kreg Community for advice, help, inspiration like minded hobbyist.  I bought a Kreg Jig K2000 ProPack several years ago and haven't used it yet.  I just ordered more items from Kreg and they should be arriving today.  I plan on getting right in the shop and using my Kreg products.

Hi.....My name is Rick and I live in Lamar, SC. I've been wood working off and on for years......It's been over 5 years since I've had the opportunity to make some sawdust, but I just had a shop built...I wired it up and now I'm ready to go. I just purchased my first Kreg jig and have built one small project....I love it !!  I'm looking forward to future projects.......

My name is September and I live in a small town in West Texas. I am a jack (Jill?) of all crafts, master of none. I love learning and trying new things so I guess it was inevitable that I would eventually get around to woodworking. My experience with wood thus far has been basically using it in craft projects. Over the years tho I have collected a miter saw, a router, a couple of sanders, a jig saw, a drill, 3 Dremels, a reciprocating saw and recently a brad nailer and circular saw. I became interested in the Kreg jig for putting together pallet wood signs for my crafting but soon realized that with this fabulous tool, I might could actually build something. Since I already own a lot of the other tools I might need, I decided to give it a shot. So I am here to do what I love, learn and try something new. I look forward to learning from and being inspired by those in this forum so thanks in advance!

Hello, my name is Tony and I hail from Nebraska.  I am pretty handy with dimensional lumber doing a 100% remodel of our current residence, deck building, chicken coop building and tree house building.  I decided I would build my daughter a loft bed for her small sized bedroom and came across Ana White's site where she recommended pocket holes.  I bought the Kreg K5 master system, some extra clamps and away I went.  I'm hooked.  After this bed I see lots of other plans on this site I'd love to tackle.  Here is a photo of my completed headboard.  I hope to have the rest of the bed done in the coming weeks.  With work, kids and waiting for oil paint to dry the project is coming along a little slow.  Glad I found this site and am looking forward to seeing what all this place has to offer.

Hello everyone, My name is Toby.  I live in central Illinois.  I recently purchased the K4 master, with hopes to do some projects.  I have build experience with framing.  I live in a Brick bungalow that was built in 1920's.  Hoping to be able to build some projects for the house.

OK lets get the formalities out of the way, Tommy TBones, Chicago, IL novice well I did make a mallet in high school. I've been looking for an item for the kitchen that I can not find so I have to build it myself which is why I decided to become a Kreg owner. I'll post pictures of my first project in a few weeks.

Hi I'm Mike. I live in NC and love to do projects on my own. I don't get to do a lot lately because of my to little girls that I wouldnt change for anything . I joined community to learn how to build new things and improve my skills with my kreg kit .

Greetings Kreg Community. My name is Derrick. I"m originally from southern Illinois but now reside in Mayfield, KY. I purchased the K4 master system as well as the rip cut. I am basically a advanced beginner when it comes to woodworking and the millions of projects available out there. I purchased the Kreg items to do small projects and once i get more comfortable using them, i will proceed to larger projects. My wife saw several kitchen cabinet projects on Pinterest and decided that i should be able to build her some in the near future. I have done some minor projects such as repairing my duaghters drawers on her dresser. I will definitely be more active on here once i get time to complete some projects and i will post photos afterwards. God Bless!

I've been using my Adaptive Cutting System table for a few years now, and it's been really solid. This past week was the first time I ever needed to use the miter guide though.I was rebuilding some shelving in a tiny closet and I discovered the…Continue

What thread and size screw to use 2 Replies

I am building a small trunk for a military friend to put some belongings in. I have made legs out of ash hardwood and will make the sides out of 1/2” or 3/4” Baltic birch plywood. The legs are 1.5” thick by 2” wide. So since I’m drilling pockets in…Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
