Hello,

My name is Eric, and I'm from San Luis Obispo CA. I just got started with wood working, as I have never owned my own tools before. My first project was an end table, that I build with my Kreg Jig, out of wine barrels and oak staves. I gave it to my wife as a gift on our wedding day, which was great to offer, as she always told me that her future husband needs to build her a table.

I have many more future projects in mind, but I thought this was a fun way to get started. I'm looking forward to getting inspired with new tips!

Hi.  I'm Angela from Northern California.  I'm a novice at woodworking but am pretty experienced with electronics and general home maintenance/improvement.  I learned a lot from my Dad growing up about mechanics and have taught myself how to do a few things around my home like building a fence.  I bought my jig to try to take my skills/projects to the next level.  I joined this community because I saw all the project pictures and got really inspired.

I'm David from Washington State.  No real projects yet as we are putting the shop together.

Hello.  New to Kreg tools and excited about getting started with all these cool projects.  I am from Columbus, IN.

Hi I'm Mike Retired FDNY working with wood most of my life.

Just getting started with pocket hole joins.

looking to build great projects for my beach house and deck.

Hi, I'm Mike, a retired cop and now community college instructor of psychology and criminal justice in North Louisiana. I've been wood working since I was eight in the cub scouts. I just bought a new (1899 Victorian) home and have enough room to set up a furniture building shop in the back. I also plan to create plans for people with a Victorian home so they can build period pieces and gingerbread trim, fencing and more. I'm looking forward to meeting others on here.

Hi

I am a retired Fire Marshal the PD arm of FDNY my beach house was built in 1920's so I'm redoing the front deck and walk way.

MIke? Mike. Nice to meet you. Looks like we're doing the same projects. My house is an 1899 Victorian updayed in the 20's. Lots of fun and headaches. I'm a retired cop but for a few years I faced the dragon with Nevada Dept of Forestry at a rural station. We handled structure fires et al in addition to forest fires. Look forward to seeing what you did on the house. Mike

Hi, my name is James, (but everyone can call me "J"), I live here in honolulu, HI

My wife and I are hardcore DIYers. We just finished remodeling our kitchen.
Hoping to meet others on here to share knowledge and experiences.

Hi, my name is Myron and I live in SE Georgia near the coast. I dabbled in woodworking all of my life since high school wood shop but not until I retired in 2006 did I really have time and space to build and fully equip my own shop. I've used my kreg jig for some time now and love it. I look forward to sharing further learning experiences with others.

Hi James welcome to the newbies group.

First time I really had a need for the ACS miter guide.

I've been using my Adaptive Cutting System table for a few years now, and it's been really solid. This past week was the first time I ever needed to use the miter guide though.I was rebuilding some shelving in a tiny closet and I discovered the…Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Not Pleased With Pocket Hole Construction
