Hello All: Been a wood-e all my life.    I've built some things that worked out well, others... well not so good.  But the key to success is to stick your head out of your shell.  So the Kreg Jig is just another way for me to do just that.  I'm looking to build strong and I feel the jig is the way to go.  I've been building strip built boat and there's not much application there, but I've got a serious closet make-over to do for the wife and I'm thinking Kreg is the ticket.  I look forward to getting inside some of the heads here and learning the tricks.  See you around.  John

Used my Kreg Jig for the first time last night and put together a faceing for a cabinet so i can attach doors.

It was so easy.

Hello my name is Valorie Fitzpatrick and I am fairly new to Kreg tools but I am very impressed with the pocket hole jig and clamps that go with it! I consider myself almost out of the beginner territory on my woodworking skills. I have learned all of my skills through trial/error, google searches and lot of youtube videos. I look forward to learning more!

Hi, my name is Robert, I am from Kansas City.   I have been doing woodworking since I have been little.   I was fortunate to have a Dad, a Grandpa and an Uncle that showed me what they knew.   I don't count my skills as very good, but I enjoy making a big pile of saw dust.   I love the Kreg Jig, and have built a few projects with it, and look forward to try a few more.

Hello, my name is Stephen, I live in Northampton, England. I have been woodworking on and off for 30 years. I have recently retired and now have more time for craft work. I decided that the first priority was to reorganise my workshop which is a garage 32 feet by 8 feet. I bought a Kreg Jig to make some workstations with integrated tool storage. The first of these is a sharpening station to house a Tormek grinder, I will post a picture when it's finished. I was always slightly dubious about pocket hole joinery but I've found the Kreg to be excellent and it really speeds the work along.

My name is Bob Nelson, formerly from Michigan, now living in Illinois.  I am a retired Registered Nurse, and now spend a lot of my time doing wood work.  My wife is also a retired Nurse, and she also spends a lot of time in the wood shop.  I have been doing woodwork most of my life, and while I am certainly not a expert, I consider myself more that a novice.  My wife (Ellen) recently surprised me with a gift of the Kreg jig, have been using it, and wish that I had received one years ago - I love it.  Looking forward to meeting others, and sharing their ideas and experiencies.

Welcome.  If you ever get to the Galesburg, IL area, please feel free to look me up.

I served 20 years in the US Armed Forces and Retired from the US Coast Guard.

I also enjoy the occasional woodworking project.  Perhaps we can trade plans.

Welcome Valorie. Hope you learn and enjoy here. Checked out your blog spot. Very cool. You'er a busy girl. Keep making dust. John

That's funny Stephen... You don't write with a Hampton accent. Welcome to the fun. John.

Thank you for your service. I too spent 20 plus years in the US Navy Submarine Service. If you ever get down south around Jacksonville Fl. give me a shout. I'm about 15 minutes north of Jacksonville just across the Ga. line.

ROFLMAO

Back in 1972, my Draft Number was "8."  I quickly joined the US Navy and ended up serving on the USS Glennard P. Lipscomb SSN 685.  The Navy decided that I would never leave subs.  That is why I ended up joining the US Coast Guard.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
