K3 problem the threaded insert is lose and will not hold setting. The k4 is worn and hard to use. I was think maybe epoxy the insert in place may fix it. I tried wood glue did hold. Anyone else had the same problem? The k4 I have thought about doing air cylinder. Just don't like the idea having to hook up air compressor ever time I use it. I am think of buy a k4 or k5 . Really would lean toward the k5 but from reviews build quality is not that good. I have had problems with the new self adjusting clamps breaking.

I fixed my Problems by upgrading to the K5 jig. I really like the K5 the dust collection works so much better than k3 or k4. They tended to clog up so rarely used dust collection port. I plan on mounting the K5 to a board
haven't done that yet. I probably will use the old trick learned here of using a Nichol instead of the provided gauge. Also glad the handle is on front like k3. Like the quick switching from 3/4 to 1 1/2 stock.

Finally installed a 4" dust collection system in my shop. I'd like to find a 4" collection port for my Kreg router table (PRS1045) fence. Anybody know where I can find such an animal or one that can be modified to fit? Thanks!Continue
