Kreg Owners' Community

Hey everyone, I thought I'd let you know that all General Tools pocket hole screws and accessories are on clearance at Home Depot. I got everything in the pic below for $11! The 100 count boxes of 1¼" are down to $1.60 and the #2 square drive extensions are only $1.40. I wiped out all the screws and bought an extra extension set. YMMV (Your mileage might vary).

No, from what I've seen its just the pocket hole stuff and doweling stuff thats on clearance. I saw that drill press gadget too, but I have a drill press, so I wouldn't need it.

I love using my Kreg system, but 75% of the time, my local hardware store doesn's have the screws in stock. I sometimes have to but the General brand screws. I have a 4 year old, that thinks I just borrow his tools, so the more square driver bits I can have, the better. I will visiting my Home Depot today, thanks for the heads up.

Finally made it over to my closest Home Depot, 35 miles one way... No screws on sale!!!. They did have the drill guide for $14 and the dovetail jig for $19, or was it the other way around??? Anyway, I didn't come away with any screws. I did go over intending to spend some money though so I got a doweling jig.... go figure.

They had them and they werent on sale, or they were sold out?

They had 'em, $4.69/box... I didn't need 'em that badly.

That's weird. The regular price was only $3 something. What state are you in?

I'm out in the middle of Kansas..

Two Home Depots in the Cleveland OH area were closing out the screws so I got 200 fine & 200 coarse from each store at $1.60 & $1.70 per hundred screws.

Yeah the kreg brand screws aren't even $4 a box down here in Florida

They pretty much got us where they want us out here. It's 120 miles to the next Home Depot but that one also has a Lowes, Menards and Harbor Freight nearby. I'll bet they're on sale there.

My home depot is now selling Kreg jigs. It's on there shelf.

I picked up the last box of general screws in the store, and 2 packs of driver bits (just in case) for 7 bucks. Not a bad find. Also, the store was having some wicked sale on Ryobi accessories, I got a nice all inclusive drill bit kit for 10 bucks. I had more fun shopping than my wife...
