Any thoughts on squeaky floors?

Depends on what type of flooring you have.  I have carpet in my house and was able to quite down the squeaking by using a special tool sold at Ace Hardware.  It comes with speacial screws that break off just below the surface of the subfloor after you finish driving them using the tripod like stand.  Again this only works if you have carpeted floors.  I think the name of the tool is "SQUEEEEEK NO MORE" and it was featured on an episode of This Old House. 
I have one too, but the squeaks are not in carpeted areas. It would seem the Kregs system would be the answer, but was wondering it anyone has tried it with any succuess.
