Hi,

Small shop shelf. I got all my pieces cut out, sanded, put in my homemade 90 degree jig. Attached all the shelves to the right side of the storage shelf but when I went to pocket hole the second side on there was no way I could get to the pocket holes with my drill. the shelf is only 9 inches and the Kreg drill bit alone is at least 5 inches. So I ended up counter-sinking and drilling from the outside of the 3/4 inch plywood and naturally the plywood went to H...!

I should have used nails I guess. What do you do when your Kreg Pocket Hole Jig project is to small to get a drill inside of to put in the screws to the second side???

Thanks in advance,

Bill in Las Vegas

Another tool I find very useful, an offset power head driving attachment, for angle driving and in close quarters.

Offered by Milwaukee Tools.

It can be used in 360 degree positions.

The auxiliary arm, has an indexing design feature, that permits all angle pivoting adjustment---up, down, both sides, and at angles.

My initial investment in this tool, was for installing screws thru the sidewalls of electrical boxes, to affix them to wall studs.

Works great for driving pocket hole screws in restricted spaces.

Available at HD for $20.

Wax paper transfer.  Reverse image ink-jet printed onto wax paper.  Position and rub with a credit card or similar.

It works Ok on softer woods like hemlock & fir.  The image will bleed a bit on pine.  I haven't tried it on maple or other hard wood.

Hey Tim, How did you do the lettering on your jewelry box? Bill in Las Vegas

I have used a short #2 square driver and a 1/4" ratchet to drive in screws in a tight spot a time or two. Worked for me.
