does anybody have a sure fire way to make sure you removed all the marks left by glue when sanding a project before staining it and finding a big old glue spot on it

thanks robert, i love the idea of using a black light but i looked through all the catalogs i have and cant find the tite bond you are talking about but it is a great idea guess i'll go to titebond .com and see if they can hook me up with a retailer. no matter how carefull i try to be and i tried the blue tape before i still seem to get glue somewhere. the first sight you sent me to gave me a couple of good ideas to try , thanks again
Ray,
the best way to do it is to let the glue, that has squeezed out, dry. once it's completely dry, scrape it off with a chisel and then sand the area clean. Don't use a damp rag to remove glue if you're staining- it will always show.
