Kreg Owners' Community

I am always curious as to what others find the most fun to create and the tool they most enjoy using.  Please share your comments on your favorite build, tool, etc.

My favorite project thus far, I think, is the storage bench I am currently working on...though, I used to think it was the sideboard that I built a year or, so ago:-)  My mind changes so frequently!!!  I absolutely love using my router, both the fixed and the plunge base, and all of my different bits and table; it is so versatile! My new multi-tool is a close second!

My Favorite project is the Master Bathroom Vanity.  I am currently designing two matching medicine cabinets to match it. My favorite tool is my compund miter save, and my multi-tool is a very close second.

I LOVE my Bosch 12" compound sliding miter.... my set of air nailers is in second... i am sure that they will get pushed out of that place by the Kreg when I finally get a chance to use it!  My favorite project would have to be designing and installing my kitchen... maybe one day I will tackle my own cabinets... maybe for a bathroom?

However I do have a pool cabana and a playgym to finish!

I too have a slider, 10" though; love it just the same!  My nailers are fun as well...how about this, I love all of my tools!!!  Thanks for your response Angela!

I certainly cant live without my nailers!!!  Last spring we had a break-in and hubby and I lost a ton of tools... Those dirty rats took off with my original compound miter (12" rigid) and my framing nailer (and had my compressor staged to leave, thankfully they left that) I just got a replacement for my framer from my wonderful hubby for Christmas!  I installed and trimmed my neighbors kitchen a few years ago and he bought me a set of 3 finish nailers... love those too...  and yeah I LOVE ALL MY TOOLS!!!

Its like saying you love one of your children more.. it doesnt work that way lol

At first, I didn't think that I had a favorite tool, but after thinking about it for several minutes, that I too, enjoy using the router , both the hand held and table, a little more than the other tools. The table saw, which I use the most, is a close second. The router with it's almost endless assortment of bits makes it a very "creative" tool, and I have always enjoyed creating things. My projects have ranged from construction items like  a 3 1/2' x 14' "lean to"  storage shed  for my garden tools (that tucks under the eave of my workshop), to a new set of front steps, shelving and wall desk in my wife's art room ( I wouldn't really call it a studio), and a little roll around table for her paints and brushes, to jigs and drawers units for my workshop, just to mention a few. My favorite projects are all the ones that evolved from my own ingenuity.

I really don't think I have a favorite project, the ones i like the most are the ones that allow me to try something new and learn from it. I also like projects that start as a simple idea and after a little collaboration from my wife and friends I come up with a really nice piece of furniture.

My favorite tool is also the router or router table I love to try different things and joints on the router table.

As Ray said in his reply, I don't really have a favorite project, I do enjoy the projects where I can reuse pieces of timber that would have otherwise been used for firewood,    My favorite tool would be my hand planes, I find it so relaxing when I hear and feel the swooosh of a plane taking thin shavings off a piece of timber.   But then again I love using all my tools.

Yesterday, I received an email wanting my opinion on Kreg adding high end workbenches to their product line and wanted to know before I clicked the link if this is a legitimate survey or some phishing scam. Here's the link I was provided (…Continue

Pantry slides for heavy application

Recently purchased two 96" tall pantry cabinets that are 23" deep that only came with two adjustable shelves and two fixed, (one at about 55" and one at the very bottom).  Shelf holes in the walls are drilled 2" O.C.  Like most store-bought…Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
