I wanted to share with this community the link on a Kreg user that have improved the pocket hole drilling with just few scraps of melamine, some screws and a spring (from a cheap plastic clamp).

Ya all you really have to do is to screw it to a peice of plywood instead of to the floor to make it portable.  Sure cures the problem with them older style jigs and having to reach around back to lock the clamp.  Makes things alot faster as well.  Glad your enjoying my vid's!

Weather here is slowing me down don't have a heated garage to busy with snow shoveling today. But my design is going to be a 4 ft. table. mounted as a tresele table.  I was surprised that it not 3/4 of inch for support to act as support for long panels on 4 ft table. I didn't have my multi mark handy today to measure. I just put 3/4 stock next to the jig and could see it was to low.  I did put the lever in between the two 9.5 pieces I need to sand the lever to tight fitting.

I've followed your very interesting videos since months, and your inventiveness is a source of inspiration for me.
I'm, currently, waiting the spring because my garage is not heated, but I think that I'll tune my K3 for my next project.

I finally got a start to the assembly of my jig here is a pictur without the lever and jig installed yet. By the way you guys that have K4 you won't have to walk around the back on large panels any mor either.

Looks like you are making good progress.  Maby once you get it done you could post something up on Wooden tool company's utube channel.  If you have any question or problems finishing this off dont hestiate to ask.  I have built a few of these now!  Cant wait to hear someone elses reation to foot clamping.  I think you find its like adding nitro to these simple jigs.  Let me know how you make out.  Keep watching my vid's.  Lots more time saving jigs to come!

Wayne I'm having trouble my k4 is a longer than 9.5 inches. I aligned the back edge of the jig with the backend of 9.5 inch wide piece? Don't seam to have enough tension to open clamp. I'm going to take the lever back off and sand alittle more still still tight. I am also going to put some wd40 on k4 joins to lossen up.

Good idea,  the fit has to be loose.  You can also tension the springs as well.  Wd40 will help on the joints as well.  Let me know how you make out

I sanded the lever and wd 40 the jig and now it works great. Here is a picture completed or almost going to add support for the panel.
