<p>I actually have had good luck with HF power tools, although I check the comment section and watch for the trends. You can actually see when they have a bad batch of a particular tool by the way the comments run. There are some products you just avoid like the plague, but if starting out on a budget and not doing production work, it is better to have an HF tool than nothing at all.</p>

I got an 8 inch and the table isn't on a screw, that limits things you can do with it, and adjustability is an issue sometimes, but mine works fine for what little I use it. I made a cabinet for the bench top I have and placed it so that I can spin the head and use it similar to a floor model if I need to. The picture is before I actually permanently mounted it onto the cabinet.…</p>

I'm not a fan of cheap tools and I've always had good luck with Craftsman power tools. After I bought it I use it a lot more than I thought I would. It was a good investment.</p>
