If I had a choise, my dream saw would be the saw stop, hands down, no questions asked. I took a trip to my local H.D., and asked why they don't have the R4512 contractor saw from ridgid like they do in the States, so he punched in the model number. I know wait for it, I know it doesn;t have the cast iron extensions and there were mixed reviews, just like anything you come across. Oh so when the gentelman typed in the model number, can you guess it, the saw is under develoment, I guess I might hold on for that one. Hopefully it won't be long, or I'll have to pick up one of the portable saw's. The one thing I read about the 4510 is that the manual states to use a 6'' dado set, would that be an issue instead of an 8''. Thank's for your ongoing suggestions I hpoe!!!!!!!!

Hey Murry that's gonna be a tug of war there, lol.
just remember the ridgid saw has a lifetime warranty with it.
They are both extremly good saws. The ridgid seems have a little better dust colletion to it, and the fences on both are extreamly good. The choice is yours. Either way be prepaired to be happy.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
