There is a blizzard watch on the East Coast. Forget about milk and toilet paper - run to your closest wood store and get 2x4's and 1x3's for this Kreg Jig HD snow fort project!
When I was a little kid, I got stuck in a collapsed snow fort. I always wanted to build something that supported the roof of a snow fort so that it would not collapse.
I did my best to make this design structurally solid. I have put over 200 lbs of weight on top and it did not shift. We have used it for snow forts, flower stands, etc.
I did not show all of the pocket joints in the sketchup - you get a rough idea.
Have fun!
