I know this is an old post but I want to reply because I had a big OOPS when I had the local Home Depot pre-cut some expensive birch plywood for a 6 foot tall pantry cabinet. I had 2 96x24 pieces and 4 24x48 pieces. I trued up my table saw and ripped the 2x4's to 16x36 and then drilled pocket holes in one end every 4 inches, applied glue and drilled pocket holes and joined the 2. Life is Good!
