Hi Everyone,
I'm starting my first project and am seeking some basic advice.
I'd like to build a closet system similar to this:
https://kregjig.ning.com/photo/albums/built-in-closet
(The dimensions are almost exactly the same as my space)
My questions are:
What type of material should I use for everything? Are the drawer fronts typically the same material?
I went to Home Depot today and looked at their birch plywood and everything they have is in rough shape. Delaminated/chipped surfaces, dents in the sides, some of the interior plywood looks hollowed out, etc...
Is this what people use or touch up, or is there some place I should be getting better materials from? (lumber yard, etc).
Is painting (and sanding) typically done after everything is installed in a project like this?
I imagine it is (excluding maybe some shelves and drawer fronts?)
Thank you!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
