Kreg Owners' Community

Hello Folks, i'm looking at a 14" band saw purchase, uses will be resawing up to 8" (I know I'll need a riser block for some) and curves etc..

my main contenders are the standard Delta 14"  which is about 700.00 in my area + Riser

A Steel City 14" Granite top for about 500.00 but will need to buy a fence and some acc. + Riser

A Steel City 14" Granite Deluxe for about 900.00 (does not need a riser)

The Granite deluxe is about the top end of my $$ but frankly I'm leaning towards it right now..

Any Advice is appreciated..

Also I'm in Cnada som some other bands you might want to recommend may not be found up here.

I would look at the Craftsman 14" Pro Bandsaw.  It resaws 8" right out of the box and down here it's under $500.00

Ya if I would look at the craftsman 14" pro to and I put it to work in my shop and wood isnt theonly thing I run throw ?

The Craftsman is a nice looking saw but seems to be perpetually out of stock up here in Canada...

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
