Kreg Owners' Community

Now the first thing one would expect to see on a "KREG JIG OWNERS COMMUNITY" is a group of people who not only own a Kreg jig or a Kreg tool but the usual project picture showing off their Kreg handy work. but occasionally you'll see a few pics of peoples other wood working projects, granted they are not all Kreg projects and you cant blame a few people for being proud of their wood working achievements. but you have got to be kidding me when you start to see more and more pics of things that really dont have anything to do with Kreg, or the art of "WOOD - WORKING". now dont get me wrong and start in on the "its a community" thing, it is a community, a great one in fact, but i am pretty sure that a majority of Kreg community members don't want to see every picture you have on your hard drive or your aunt Edna's daisies(unless she built the flower pot holder out of wood and found a neat lil trick to using the Kreg jig to make them). We all know that "Kreg Tool Company is a company of 'inclusion' and not exclusion" as this was once pointed out, we get that, this isn't about banning, or removing, or trying to control anyone or anything, its more about "everything has its place" just like a woodshop has a place for all the tools one would use, so why not a community forum? if i drive to home depot its only reasonable that i would be able to see home improvement products and ideas, not womens lingerie(although this would probably improve there profit margin). one of the great things about using a Ning Network forum like this is that every member has their own "My Page" where they can post their own photos and even videos. this is where you'd expect to see the non Kreg photos to go, a place to post the pics you have laying around on your hard drive that aren't really about Kreg Tools or even about wood working, you can post all the pics of aunt Edna you want or anything that you want to share to those other members who want to get to know you even more. its a place you can advertise your own business(as long as the Kreg guys are ok with promoting your business while you use there bandwidth which they will have to pay for very soon, or it doesn't break the Kreg forum rules) whether its making NFL memorabilia, custom cabinets, or even custom graphics for your tailgate... but either way its a great place to put your personal stuff that just might not really be a "kreg tool community" kinda thing that keeps gettting posted in the general "PHOTOS" section of the forum. I like a lot of other Kreg Jig community members come to this forum to get new ideas, learn about new Kreg tools and ways to use them, and even general wood working tips and advice that only a community can like this can provide. so i guess the question would be is it such a bad idea to post your non-kreg stuff on your "My Page" photo section?

Did ya ever think that maybe the Kreg Jig is just what brought us together, and not the entire breadth of our being? I, personally, come here primarily to get ideas as well. I do think Aunt Edna has some pretty nice daisies, though. :) This is the Kreg Jig Owners Community.
