I found this entertainment center online and I want to build it.

But the site I found it on doesn't have any plans at all to build it.

Anyone out there that can draw up some rough plans that will get me close?

Hello Jason,

I think I can help you with this. Are you looking to build the whole system or just a part off it? Do you have a specific location you are trying to work in with this unit?

Jason,

You could check with a local cabinet maker, perhaps they can come up with a set of plans.

Some may offer that service.

Hi Jason. We have collected 400+ (free) DIY project plans from our builder/blogger friends. You can check them out here: http://www.pinterest.com/kregtool/diy-project-plans/. There are multiple plans for built-ins, media units, etc. that are similar to what you are looking for. We have also listed other great sources (blogs, websites, etc.) for project plans and inspiration here: http://kregjig.ning.com/forum/topics/project-plans-and-inspiration. Thanks for posting, and Happy Building!

Hey Bob. Thanks for helping me out. I am looking to build the entire unit.

I have up to 10' width to work with.

Thanks again.

Jason

Hey Jason! Here is something similar, but I'm sure you can add the elements you want to: http://decorandthedog.net/decorandthedog/2014/10/12/living-built-in... or http://www.remodelaholic.com/2014/05/pottery-barn-media-center-buil...

Pantry slides for heavy application

Recently purchased two 96" tall pantry cabinets that are 23" deep that only came with two adjustable shelves and two fixed, (one at about 55" and one at the very bottom).  Shelf holes in the walls are drilled 2" O.C.  Like most store-bought…Continue

Miter Saw Recommendation 1 Reply

I’m looking to upgrade my miter saw. I’m willing to invest a good amount of money to get one with the precision pocket hole joinery requires. Would anyone like to offer a recommended model?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
