The point is that current owners should be given a discount on this add on product. That would be the right thing to do. Nobody has to buy this add on if they don't want to. It should also be included with the other original set up in future products. Not for 60 dollars more. But the world is not right or fair most of the time. Money rules all. Just ask "Pacman" who got robbed last night by the crook Bob Arum about that one.

Not sure I understand the push against HD in some of the posts here. If you're using bigger pocket holes with bigger, strong pocket hole screws, to be applied to bigger stock, isn't this a good thing? I certainly think so! Although, the price is a little steep, in my view, for an add on to my current jig. I think an additional $60 is a bit much. Having said that...using it would certainly make a project many times stronger than nails or using the previous screws available for pocket holes! For the guy who's project fell due to snow, he really caught a bad break, especially since his vehicle was damaged as well, but I think using this HD jig with the bigger screws would have solved that issue. Additionally, my friend built a Tree house for his son using the K3 jig and they had a real bad tornado come through and it ripped the roof off his house but that tree house is still there and undamaged! I'd say that trumps wet snow!
Ken, I just finished a raised…tag:kregjig.ning.com,2012-06-09:2900167:Comment:4358592012-06-09T00:11:24.059ZRickhttps://kregjig.ning.com/profile/Rick98

For those who think Kreg is "over-thinking" the basic pocket hole, ever take a look at how many different hammers there are for sale? After all, how many different ways can you pound a nail?

We now have small, medium, and large pocket holes. How good is that!
