What did you use for runners for miter slot?

Steve at Woodworking for mere mortals just did a video on making a cross cut sled. Steve also made the Kreg Crate video. Here is the link~~http://www.woodworkingformeremortals.com/2010/11/build-table-saw-sl...
I hope this helps you.
I built mine quite a few years and 2 or 3 moves ago and it's held up just fine and I use it all the time. Below is a video of it in action. In the video I am showing how I cut the Kreg Pocket Hole Plugs to size to fit my project, which helps me to avoid damaging my work by cutting them off in place. Something I could never do on a miter box saw or any other saw for that matter. The sled is made with 1/2" MDF, planed down 2"x4"'s to fit my hands and the runners are made from PVC Lumber stock.
