Hi All.....

I have the 35mm Kreg Jig hinge drill guide. The guide is great for 35mm Hinge Cups, but I have a speciality 40MM hinge cup to drill.

Has anyone adapted the Kreg guide to work with 40mm Forsner drill bits? Or have a guide that works well.

Thanks everyone for looking...

I have a k5 jig. Had an issue and took it apart.

Now the small ball that is inside the ratchet compartment is gone.

Anyone know the size needed to replace it?

I have not been too active recently, but I am sad to see this community being ended and archived. Have gotten a lot of useful info from the forum over the years. Facebook is not somewhere I want to go, so I guess I'll look for other forums.

I recently added the Kreg XL jig to my collection of awesome Kreg tools. My question: When joining a a 2x4 to a 4x4 using 4” XL screws, I should attached the jig to the 2x4 and set it to the 2x4 setting, correct?
Thanks in advance for the advice!

This might have been discussed before but I can't find the right answer.

I recently upgraded to a Kreg 720 Pro and gave away my old R3. The old kit had a chart in inches & mm for setting the collar depth of the Kreg pocket hole drill. Unfortunately, I didn't keep a copy of the chart.

The new kit came with some weird setting guide on the back which is missing key settings for common material thicknesses like 3/4", 1-1/2".

Hi everyone,

Just got my 720 jig. I noticed that when I put the drill bit into the drill guide, it does not go through. The tip of the drill bit does not extrude from the guide. A photo is attached.

I wonder if it is normal, because if the bit does not touch the workpiece, it won't make the pocket hole.

Or if I force it through it will drill out the plastics of the guide?

Could anyone shed some light on it? Thanks
