"Hello my name is Mark Crouch I live in Windsor Mo. I have done some woodworking off and on since I was in high school ( 30+ years ago ). I am interested in doing a refinishing business if any body has any input on how to start I would be open to this.

 I would first start by reading up on refinishing because there is many different ways to go in refinishing furniture.

 Also check out businesses that do refinishing in your area.  Start small like refinish your own and take some pictures of before and after and post them around town with your name and business. I would go to your local city hall or county offices for what you would need for a business license and etc. Do your homework because starting a business you want to protect yourself legally. That is all I could tell you because that is what I found out.  Also I forgot one other way you can sell or refinish yard sale items and consign them in the beginning until you get business flowing.  I hope this could help you.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
