Robert, I appreciate the advice.  The joints weren't the issue, the issue was where I accidentally got glue on it and didn't see it.  Haha.  Afther I wiped the dust off after sanding I could see it when wet with the mineral spirits, but it was still a pain.

Here's a tip I use when gluing especially when gluing darker wood or lighter wood with dark stain.  Place blue painters tape at the joint during glue up wipe up excess with a damp cloth and remove about 10 to 15  min. after it starts to set up and scrape any excess.

Yeah, that's true - its a bunch of work. But it sure looks great when you get it all cleaned up and finished.

Thanks William!!  Never again will I mess with Walnut either!  Just when you think you have it finished and start to seal it a glue spot shows up!!

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
