I built this for a friend to her specs. These are easy to build but time consuming. Anywhere from 25 to 40 hours for the big ones. This is maybe my 5th one. They'll last about 10 years with the right nails/screws, etc. Protect it with deck stain.

I had no plans Ronda, sorry.

Here's some info that might help you.

All cuts below the roof are 22.5 degrees.

Each cut piece of each rung on the base is 10" long. Six rungs comes out to six 2'x4"x12'.

The two posts are 2"x4"x6'. So, were up to eight 2"x4"x12'.

The base footer and sill are 2x6's. You'll need 2 of those.

The roof frame is 2"x4"...whatever size roof you want, you'll need to determine how many more 2"x4" you need.

I used treated plywood under the shingles. Again...it's up to you how large.

One bundle of cedar shingles from the big box store.

The rope thingy is a bevel cut 4x4, the handle made from treated scrap on a band saw. The handle knob is from a broken broom handle. Two pocket holes on each 10" piece of the rungs. I used a strap wrench around each rung, then put a ribbon(corrugated) nail to secure one to the next...on both sides. The pail I use a 22.5 degree tongue and groove router bit set and I have my own banding tools and steel roll, but you can use bamboo steamed soft or some of the hemp if you have it.

I think once you put the base together, your wood instincts and imagination will guide with the top. Your biggest enemy will be the wind, so keep that in mind. In addition, this well weighs a bunch, but it's amazingly strong. I tilted mine and rolled it to move it. If you start it and get stuck, e-mail me. Good luck.
