Ray, Thank you for your kindness.  I have missed some of the long time members  who, like you, always turned out some impressive projects.  I would like to see this happed again.

Jay as always I'm impressed and inspired by your work, once the weather cools off a little bit I'll be back at it. It gets really hot in my basement and there is only three little vent windows in the middle of glass block windows.

Rita, Thank you for your nice comments.  Art and woodworking do go hand in hand and woodworking is an art form in itself.  I don't know if anyone really masters either as there is something that always eludes us.  I guess that is the challenge that draws us to woodworking.  Thanks again.

Thank you Lorrie, I appreciate your comments and the confidence that you have for the next chest.  It will be a challenge as the lumber I have for it is going to be more difficult to match grain and color in.  Thank you again.

Thank you George for the favorable comment.  Yest the heart inlay was time consuming as these have to be cut around 1/4" in depth.  With the cedar being uneven in texture it was temperamental  as the hard grain would cut requiring more pressure on the carving bit and then it would suddenly hit the soft grain and would want to grab.   The further I got on cutting the hearts the more I worried about the bit running out of the heart shape and destroying  the work I had completed in each piece of the molding.  There is 19 hearts in the three pieces of the molding.
