This is beautiful, Chuck! How did you insert the tile? Did you build a wood frame for the tile to sit in? And how did you attach, did you grout, etc?

Rick, glad you like the Egg table. I did'nt keep any of the plans I drew up for this, but it was 7 feet long and 32 inches high. I left about a 1/2 inch around the Egg so it wasn't touching the wood. The verticle 2x4 under the the Egg is a hidden door for keeping the plate setter. I did use ceramic tile with a sanded tile caulk. Seems to be fine here in Mo. weather. I made this for a friend and he keeps it under his deck so it's out of any wet weather. It was definatly fun to build!!

Is the tile top ceramic? porcelain? natural stone?

I have heard that I need to use natural stone tile for outdoor projects in my northern Minnesota climate.

Beautiful project!  I like the symetry with the grill in the center.

Chuck - Would you be willing to share the overall dimensions?  I can figure out the rest.  Thanks!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
