I am using 1 inch deck boards and I are going to edge join them. What length screws should be used? My literature covers 1/2, 3/4, and 1 1/2 inch material.

Steve,

Which jig is it that you have?  If you could let me know I would be able to better assist you.

I believe I have the  K4 jig and I requested having the handle in the front, that was an option. I had used a jig at work with the handle in the rear and I am really glad I chose the one I did..

Steve,

Is the material you are working with actually 1"?  If so you will want to set the jig and the depth collar settings for 1" material and then use a 1 1/2" screw.  If you have any other questions please let us know.

Thank you for that information. It is one inch material.
