No plans I'm afraid. I was just freestyling when I built it. However, please see my response to Patrick Hayes below, for some specifications. They may be helpful to you.

Thanks for the reply. Even without a detailed pattern it looks good.
The 22 lb weight would be an issue if using it all the time in different locations.
I've got an 8' rolling bench that I'm planning to use for my miter saw, and possibly incorporating my K5 on the same bench.

Thanks all, for your interest in my design. I've used the workstation with several projects now and am very pleased with it, but unfortunately there are no plans or sketches since I assembled it more or less spontaneously, completely from available scraps.

If its any help at all, I can say that its base is 36" long (91.4 cm) and 11" (27.9 cm) wide. The base, top, and 5" (12.7 cm) wide workpiece stage is particle board covered with a faux wood vinyl veneer that is reasonably tough and provides a slick, reasonably impervious work surface. This material is strong, works well, but adds a lot of weight. The entire unit weighs over 22 lbs (10.1 kg), so you might wish to try plywood. The 2" base flanges, with handles, help portability and can be easily clamped to a bench top if you are working with an especially large workpiece. The yard stick remnants mounted below the stage helps with estimating the even positioning of pocket holes in your work piece, quickly and efficiently.

I really like the drawer better than a hinged top, because you have access to accessories even when a workpiece is engaged in the jig. The drawer box and dividers are common 1x4" pine, with a 1/4" plywood false front. I thought about routing grooves in the drawer box for 1/4" dividers, to save room for more accessories in the drawer, but didn't go to the trouble.  Of course, this is an option and might save a little weight. i'll post a couple of more pictures to show close-ups of the drawer, etc.

Hope this helps. Please post pics when you build your versions. I'd like to see your improvements. Best of luck!

Kreg has a free Project Plan which you can download to make your own storage unit.  I made one in 2014 using the Kreg plan, with a few of my own changes.  Works like a charm.  John

Do you have a pattern for this project? I've seen others and am curious to See If some can be incorporated together.
