Ive seen how its done for regular butt joints but how do you do it for a mitered join? How do you set up the jig for it? Im using 2x4  and i want to reinforce  the inside of a frame I made dont know if you do them before of after you miter them or how to set up for that.

I believe I understand the situation you are referring to but I was curious if you could go into a little more detail or send a picture to verify we are talking about the same setup.  If you could let me know I would be able to better assist you.  

No worries I figured it out but sadly i didn't have enough  1"1/2 screws and the big screw kit I bought from Kreg didn't even have  1"1/2 in it . Thanks for the respnce tho.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
