My name is Mark Buono.  I am a Network Engineer living in Arizona.  I am an Army Veteran.  I have a basic collection of power tools and work out of my garage or backyard. I consider myself to be a novice.  Interested in Backyard projects.  I have a large yard and would like to make it more enjoyable.

Here is my last project... a quick Blanket Ladder for my Bride.

Greetings fellow woodworkers;
My name is Bob (with one ooh) and I am from Cadillac, MI which is very close to the 45th parallel in the lower peninsula.  I am a retired computer and database administrator who has been building an inventory of quality woodworking tools and using them to build mostly personal belongings.  My inventory includes a Hegner scroll saw, Bosch SCMS, Bosch table saw, three Bosch routers, P/C Biscuit Cutter, Delta 13" Planer, 16 speed drill press, and many other assorted power and hand tools along with many custom jigs that I've made.  I just purchased the Kreg PRS1040 precision router table to replace a much older one that I had purchased from Eagle America which I found was giving me great difficulty setting up for cutting Lock Miter joints.  I am hoping this new table overcomes those difficulties.
My most recent project which I started last December is a Quilt Rack for my wife.  This project was interrupted when I accidentally stuck my left index finger in the path of my table saw blade giving new meaning to "Red Oak".  I thank the Lord I did not lose any bone.

Sorry about your injury!  Looks pretty nasty!

You are light years ahead of my skills.  I look forward to growing as a woodworker, while keeping my digit inventory at a full 10 and 10.

Your quilt rack looks incredible.

Mr. Moore, your post is humorous.  Good for you for getting yourself a birthday gift as good as what you got.  Hope you had a good lunch with your grandson.  Grandchildren are the best.  JDM

Hello:
My name is David, I live in Crowley. Today's my birthday, and my wife had to go to Houston. Guess what I bought myself for my birthday? A kreg master system. Teach her to leave me oin my birthday! I fancy myself a woodworker but am constantly looking for easier ways to make joints. I've tried dowels, biscuits, and am excited to try the kreg system. My gransdon is at the door with lunch. I guess grandma called and told him to go take care of Pops. Looking foward to allo the expertisew here...

Thanks for the kind words, Mark.  As bad as that finger looks, it never hurt at all.  All the doctor did was put a bandage on it and told me to come back in a week to have a look at it.  I did get back on that horse to finish that quilt rack and now I am looking for my next project.  Don't be concerned about your expertise.  Your skills will advance as you work with it and read tips and helps from other woodworking veterans.  And speaking of veterans, I sincerely thank you for your service in the Army.  I too am a veteran having served 4 years with the US. Air Force in Germany in the 1960's and leaving as a S/Sgt (E5).

Thank Bob, especially for truly being a Brother in Arms.

I was in for a shade over 10 and left on the list for O4.  After Panama, Granada and DS1, it was time to enjoy a quieter life with my Bride.  I am "up there" in years but if I get busy, I'll have enough experience to take me through my more golden years!  (yes, the profile picture may be a bit dated)

Cheers.

Mark

Hello, my name is Joe and am living in Brighton Colorado. I haven't done much wood working yet. But I am learning. Slowly but surely, some mistakes so far but nothing I wasn't able to fix. My background is in aircraft maintenance. Not to much wood on the aircraft I work on. Kreg system was purchased for the wife, she wanted to try it. Has been sitting for about a year and nothing so I thought I would give it a try. Started simple with a table from Ana White plans. Turned out ok, not great but usable. Now building the work bench from the Kreg plans. Found I needed a work bench to build the work bench! Turning out ok. Almost done, ordered the clamp track and clamps, just waiting for delivery to finish.

Good afternoon!

My name is Jon, live in Muncie Indiana, grew up helping my dad do woodworking, and just now got into it again once I got married.  I am hoping to learn more about the pocket jig, everyone I hear talk about it LOVES it, I cant seem to figure it out!  Guess I will post my questions in the question area!

Hi, I'm Barry from Jacksonville Florida. I consider myself an average DIYER, not a woodworker. I recently bought a pocket hole jig to make a shelf for the laundry room. The shelf is going in my shed, but the pocket holes were perfect. Still have to build the shelf.

Hello, I am Josh, newb from Wisconsin. Just got a K5 Master kit. Can't wait to start using it.

Hello.  Go by Jim.  Live in the DFW area.

Starting to do more wood working to build some skills so when I retire (hopefully in about 6-8 years) I will keep busy making furniture for our retirement home.  Right now the only thing our furniture has in common is the Ikea label.

Hi my name is Mike and I live in NH.  I have been enjoying woodworking for years.  I have owned a cabinet shop and furniture shop. My son now runs the furniture shop.  I fell in love with Kreg products a long time ago.  Its one of the best products I have used.  In my area I usually do a couple Kreg demo's a year. Looking forward to seeing everyone's projects and sharing mine.
