Kreg Owners' Community

Dear Kreggers,
I need a little guidance. I put some artwork on some .5x 3.5 boards. I want to mount them over the windows as a decoration.
I was wondering if you could tell me how I can best achieve this. They are stucco walls. I am not sure what kind of nails or screws to use to put the boards up.
I have drills and drivers, I just don't know how long the nails or screws should so I don't run them to the other side of the walls.

I would really appreciate your assistance.

One method that'll work, is to make "keyhole" slots on the back side of the boards,

using a "keyhole router bit"

Install screws into the wall and hang up the boards.

Rockler Keyhole Slot Router Bits - 1/4" Shank  Freud 25/64" Key Hole Router Bit 70-104

Dear Ken,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I have no router. I wouldn't know how to begin to use one. Do you happen to have a plan B? Thank you.

Plan "B"

Install hollow wall anchors.

Install picture hooks on the back side of the board.

Hang 'em up.

The wall anchors are available at Home Centers.
