Can someone help me? I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue! I have a Forman that I have had for about a year and a half and love it however my machine when engaging the motor shuts off has anyone had this issue?

Have you consulted with Kreg's Customer Service?

I've had one since they became available---

haven't experienced any issues with mine.

The motor trigger switch needs to be fully depressed, while running the motor. 

Keep it depressed during the entire drilling operation.

Make a few dry runs---running the motor and bit, 

without drilling any holes.

It's possible the electrical connections to the switch are loose---not fully engaged.

Ensure the drill bit is fully engaged and locked in the drilling chuck.
