I recently purchased the Crown Pro jig. In the instructions it mentions to set the mitre saw table depending on if 0 or 90 is in the middle of the table. My saw has 45 in the middle. How do I figure how to set the angle?

I think they mean to say "when your saw is set to make a square cut to the fence, what is the pointer pointing to?"  There, the answer to the question would be either 0 or 90 degrees.  Most saws will point to 0.

Some saws made by Bosch, Craftsman and Wen (and others) have the pointer and scale offset so directly in front of the saw is the 45 degree mark.  When the saw is set to make a square cut, the pointer will point at 0 degrees.

I made my own jig out of some scrap wood. I apologize for the video not being the best but it will show you the basics of what you need to do.
