Hellow - my name is Mike. I've been a hobbyist woodworker for near 40 years now. I work out of my garage. My biggest project so far has been remodeling our kitchen/living room/dining room which included building all the cabinets myself. But, I do lot of projects around the house in addition to building furniture. Recently I have also been bit by the round bug and started to enjoy turning. I have a full compliment of WW tools and enjoy milling rough sawn hardwood lumber for my projects. I have been using the Kreg jig for many years and a couple years ago bought the kit that I thought had every jig they made! My current projects using the Kreg have been a grill cart for my ceramic grill and currently just started a raised bed garden that will require about 700 HD screws!

I'm Nate. I live in Michigan. I'm an aspiring/beginning/hobbyist wood worker. I'm looking forward to seeing the many different projects I've thought of come to fruiting and owning a Kreg Jig will be a great start to that process!

Hello all,

My name is Mark, and I am from Rochester, NY. I like to do my own woodwork if possible. I used to work as a rough carpenter 35 years ago, but now I work in an office, so my recent experience is more working with my own home. I recently purchased the jig because I would like to learn how to make cabinets for our kitchen. I am somewhat skeptical as to whether I can handle this job, but I am up to trying. The good thing is that since the old cabinets are right here, I can use them as a pattern for new ones.
This jig certainly makes putting things together easy. I built 2 toy boxes for my grandkids, and I sure wish I had this tool then. It makes the construction fast and simple. Thank you for having me here.

Hello to all you wood workers my name is Wayne, I'm from a small town called Caledonia, MS,  I look forward to having all the great minds out there to be helpful to me.  I have worked on cars for most of my life and spent the other half in the Army.  I'm retired now and looking forward to working with wood.  I have always enjoyed  building things but never could seem to either complete it or be able to make two of the same.  I enjoy working on cars and working with wood. So I plan on turning my shop into a wood working shop and just taking my time making stuff.  Look forward to talking to yall.

hi- my name is randy and i am from boise idaho.i am a beginner in woodworking.i built a couple of benches and can tell i need help.it was really fun and hope to do better next time  i will be in touch with some of you soon bye for now.

Hello,

My name is Brian Russell. I live in Long Beach, CA. My father introduced me to woodworking as a boy. Took woodshop in school. Got married, started a family, was a Scoutmaster for years and put wood working aside. Started doing project around the house and back to it. My shop is taking shape and always admired Kreg pocket screw joining system for it's simplicity and stability. Two great hallmarks in my book. I am a weekend warrior still active in my commercial real estate practice and current President of my local Rotary Club. I enjoy making projects for family and friends. I'm looking forward to learning from each of you and sharing any help that I can offer. Cheers!

My name is Troy. I joined this forum to learn more on wordworking and integrating the KREG Jig into my bag of tools.

Hi , my name Is Todd Long, I live in Alcoa, TN. My wife and I team operate in the trucking industry, we do own our own truck. We both have backgrounds in the building industry. I have been involved with it since high school, her since we started our own businesses. I worked remodeling and building, she did tile installations. I joined this site after a friend let me barrow his kreg jig. I posted my first projected on here, I made a cooler caddy for the same friend. I am hooked on this jig and I am planning many more projects. My wife like it because it gets me out doing something besides watching tv  or playing on the computer all the time. Not that I am lazy, we love to go hiking. But it gives me another hobby, my hobbies include wood working, home brewing, cooking, remodeling. I like sites such as this one, because of meeting new people and seeing different ideals and plans on new projects. I hope to become friends with some of you and share new ideals!

Hello kreg'ers, my name is Edwin. I bought the kreg DIY kit a couple months back and got hooked. I immediately upgraded to the K5. Drilling pocket holes for a small project with the starter kit was fine but can become cumbersome if you are trying to do more difficult projects. In any event I'm happy to be here and will post some pictures shortly. The only thing that bothers me about Kreg is the fact that I didn't find it sooner. I never worked with wood prior to owning the starter kit now I'm looking for projects to do all over my house. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

Happy Building!
