Hello all - new to wood working and looking forward to learning as much as I can from the more experienced.

Good Morning Fellow members,
I'm Allen Carroll here in Atlanta, GA. I'm a beginner in woodworking. I'm a photographer with over forty years of experience. I'm here to learn how to make creative photographic/picture frames. Something a bit more avant garde than the usual frame shop. And there are several other projects i'm very interested in: platform beds, work and outdoor tables, shelving and a creative wine rack.
I would like to thank, any and all of you, in advance for any advise and help that you may provide.
Now, I'll shut up and start looking around.
Again, thanks,
Allen

Hi All - new member!

Just made my first Kreg Jig Jr facilitated project.   We needed a chicken tub cover for the baby chicks that are coming today, to keep the cats and dogs and kids out of the tub.   I made two frames, one fits into the other and lifts out to have access to the chicks.   I was really impressed with how it came out, and my wife commented that she thought it looked "professional."   She approved, so i am doubly excited.

Now I am looking around my house trying to figure out what else i can build!

Don't stop now Jed,

You're on a roll.

Greetings! It is great to finally be a part of this community! I have been "stalking" the Kreg Jig for 2 years, and finally talked my husband into investing in one FOR ME!

My name is Taiwannika, pronounced just like the country "Taiwan" and add a "nee-kah" to it. Yes, I was born in the 70's...I am a Louisiana native and a sociologist currently living in Georgia. I am a mother of 6 children, and 1 grandson (first time Granny!!!).

Being from the swamps of bayou country, I have always been interested in working with wood, and the Kreg Jig has been a great tool to help me appreciate the skills that I have been holding back on. I am hoping that in this community I can learn more and advance my skills in woodworking. I anticipate uploading pictures of my first project - a built in bookcase - shortly.  But I have many ideas just swarming in this head of mine!!

Hello everyone, My name is Ron and I live in North Central California. I have never gotten into woodworking as a whole beside general construction. I get so burned up buying this cheap imitation of wood furniture and when I saw this on TV, I knew I had to have it. I don't have money for a lot of tools I don't know how to use or need for more than just one project and I knew this would be very useful.

Hello All. My name is Nasiruddin (Na-Sheridan). I live outside of Philadelphia, PA. I'm a stay-at-home mom, at the moment , but have always loved watching woodworking & remodeling shows. I only have a little experience with woodworking but I have some projects around my house & yard that I want to accomplish & now that I have my Kreg jig & other tools, I'm ready to get started!!
