Kreg Owners' Community

I think would be good to be able to locate other Kreg and woodwork fans local to you to perhaps arrange a meetup for a beer and talk Kreg, Wood share ideas for plans etc :-)  Is this something that just appeals to me or would it interest other members as well?

Andy,

I'm willing to meet with other woodworkers to share techniques, brag about our accomplishments or just chat woodworking in general.  Unfortunately we do not even live close to each other.  I'm in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ.

I think its a great idea. I live in Joliet, IL but anywhere in Northern IL once a month would be doable.

I'm in Chicago, and I'd like to meet others as well.

That's a good idea I'm up for that

Jack,

There are some wood working stores in the Chicago area; such as Rockler, WoodCraft, Owl Lumber, and the like, that you can visit.

Discuss your interests with their employees.

Peruse their bulletin boards.

Some stores offer Saturday morning demos.

There's also several wood working clubs in the surrounding burbs.

I'm sure you'll learn more than visiting Billy Joe Bob's Pub---

after a few brews, some will come on as "professors".

Jack,

Also, check with local community colleges.

Some offer wood working classes.

I am in South  Jordan Utah and would like to know woodworkers in my area.

Carl

I am in Washington State. Sounds like we are all over the US :)

Washington State also.  Actually made my first visit to Rockler (Northgate).   That store is going to get me in as much trouble as the Tulalip Cabela's does!
