Thanks for the comment, and the advice Leslee. The advice is a bit late though as my carpentry list gets longer and longer daily. Woodworking is always fun no matter how long the list gets.

I bet your wife was pleased with the new kitchen, John. Be careful she might want you to do something else later on. I do like the lite and dark contrast with the cabinets and counter tops. the backsplash is a very class act that gives a lighting aspect to the kitchen.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Cheryl, the backsplash is mosaic stainless steel. 12x12 sheets they go on pretty easy. Cutting was a bit more of a challenge. It was very worth it though not something I would take on again.

John, this is spectacular.  What type of back splash is that? I really love the color combinations and even though it took a year, it was well worth it from what I see.
