Jay,

Yes, that would make for a great tool cabinet in the shop.

AND, must not forget a few for the wife's sewing and craft supplies.

Thank you Ken, it is a big box and actually could be converted over to a great edition to the shop for storage

Hi Rita,  Thank you so much for the nice complement.  Yes my customer was very happy and this is a custom build for a kitchen remodel.  They had moved the kitchen around and pushed out a wall to make room for this.  It is a match to their other cabinets.  Many like the clean interior of melamine.  I use the cope and stick method of cabinet door joinery.  It is a quick strong and effective method.  The doors on this project is a flat panel door of which is not my favorite type of door that I make as I like the raised panel styles.  It just happens that I am making a replacement door for another cabinet for my customer of which is the same as these.  I will photograph the steps and will make sure you get them as they will be done in a lesson style.

Well done Jay and I know you have a very happy customer!   Love the white interior and the design of having a built in broom closet within easy reach.  I wish I had room for something like this within my kitchen.   I've been familiarizing myself with different joinery for cabinet doors.   May I ask what you used in this build?

Steve Kidd, Thank you so much for you compliment as it does mean a lot and always appreciated.  It is always good to hear from you and hopefully I will be posting something about one of your projects soon.  Winter is coming fast and that is the time to build up the fire and do some woodwork.  Take care my friend and thank you again for your comments.

David dean, Thank you for your nice and thoughtful comment.  It was not my favorite material to work with as Melamine has its own special requirements to get it from a sheet of material into a cabinet.  The cutting and boring is a task as it is brittle and easily chipped out in places that are always open to view.  But with patience and determination it turned out to be what the customer wanted.  Thanks again and I hope business is good for you.

Ron, Thank you for such a nice comment on the pantry.  Yes it was a heavy beast to lift and move around and took about all I could do.  There was 2&1/2 sheets of 3/4 melamine in it and I am sure you know how heavy that stuff is.  The the face frame added more but stripped down it was a heavy thing to put onto a truck and delivering it.  It was then that the fun began as it had to come off the truck and down two steps on a walk way and then up three steps into the entry and then tipped up an place into position.  It was a two glass of tea event and thankfully it slid into place like a glove.

Thanks again for your nice comment.
