Here is the link to the one I was looking at

http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DWS520SK-Tracksaw-59-Inch-2-Inch/dp/B0...

I was 10 dollars off. So a 50 dollar difference.

What had me sold is when the Kreg Rep mentioned that the Trition Saw uses a regular 6 1/2" blade. In my mind I thought he was talking about a normal circular saw blade with a 5/8 arbor. Specs that I can find on their website state 20mm arbor. Is their a different model out there?

That is a good buy.

Good Morning Joshua;

The Dewalt is the model I own and the Amazon buy is a great price for that model although you should buy a
 longer track or another track with track joiner. Here is a link with the Woodwhisper who owns the Festool reviewing the Dewalt Track Saw.

Hey there, just had to bump this thread as I am looking for some feedback from anyone that has used the Triton.

It's on sale locally and I would like to know how it compares to the Makita sp6000.

I am well aware that the Festool TS55 REQ is the be all-end all of track saws ( I spend a lot of time at Contractor Talk. com), but I need a more affordable alternative; and if the Triton stacks up decently against the Makita I'll get it.

Thanks in advance folks, and I hope to contribute where I can here.

Well, I did end up purchasing the TTS 1400, and will be able to provide some first impressions and a full review in due time.
