Kreg Members;

Recently I needed to make some long tapers for a friend who was installing his vanity and once level he needed 2 filler strips one against the wall and one along the floor. Well I pulled out my taper jig the metal one that pivots and has a little aluminum hook on the end it did the job but just barley and not really that safe so I put it away and remembered all the different tapering jigs I had used made or worked with over the years all of which did the job but could of been better.

In one of my flyers they had on sale the new Micro Jig model and it just happened I needed to make some table legs also I own 4 of the Gripper pushers and the Grippers work along with the Tapper Jig. So I went online and watched and looked at everything I could and was sold. Everyone knows by now I'm a big Kreg fan but after that I'm a Micro Jig fan.

For anyone who makes a lot of taper cuts on a table saw for what ever reason I highly recommend for the 140 dollars it is a great lifetime tool.

Hello Gary;

Actually since it lays flat on the table saw or router table no problem with flexing, and yes it will do small pieces very safe as you can attach a Gripper in seconds and control the piece and the off cut as well. The only thing in the manufactures instructions is to tighten the knobs after adjusting the angle and do not cut with just using the detents to keep the angle set.

This looks like a good well though out jig.  Since its plastic is there much flexing? Does it work on small parts?
