Used red oak plywood and solid for this desk. I used my Kreg jig for most of the joinery.

I made the boxes first then installed them with the slides allowing for the fronts. I then measured for the fronts and avoid a goof. The oak was too expensive to mess up.

Well that's a good reason to build more. I had built only one cabinet with drawers that I used at work (not working there anymore). First time the drawers had a big gap between each other, made the fronts too short. I made new fronts and it looked good then.

Thanks guys. I treated the drawer stack as a cabinet. I used a locking miter bit for making the corners for the boxes. They are mounted on full extension slides. I then screwed into the desk carcass. Even with seven drawers my wife ran out of room in the drawers.
