I wanted to use recessed LED light fixtures for my patio room, so I had to build a fixture to give me the room. When the ceiling is installed the will hang into the room about 2 inches, but the are very attractive

Designing and making the fixtures took almost 3 days, the LEDs are $49.98 at Lowes.  So the fixtures were well over $100 each.  Thanks for the comment Robert

Look like you have every avenue covered Hal,

I checked out the specs and you have selected a very good product, no price shown but I think mine were about $75 to $80.

After the installation I determined I had reduced my energy used for light consumption by about 48%

These LEDs pull right out and then you unplug them.  They could be replaced by a standard bulb.  The are very bright and dim-able.  They are not little LEDs they are big ones.  See:

Hello Hal

I like your LED lights, they certainly provide effective illumination and look good.

I have a question for you, as I have some thing similar in my house, and from my experience LED lights are very predictable, they will fail on start up or fail prematurely ( before warranty expires) then fail as age related predictions approach (much the same as me!) so have you given any thought as to how are you going to service them after the ceiling goes in?

I would not want to be opening the roof to do maintenance on them if it can be done from inside with a pre install mod.

Regards

Robert Brennan

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
