I sure like the different colors and the mixing of gold and silver. What a nice collection of pens and keychains. Are they all acrylic or some of them made with different kinds of mixtures of wood?  I really would like to get a lathe and make some pens and such. I can't afford one right now. I really would want to get one someday.

Hi james, hows it going?must admit james your idea a new one on me.I guess i abuse my drill bits, but i have invested in a couple of colt bits.Don/t know if you have them in the states but i am sure you have something similiar. There about $15 a piece but they make drilling out blanks a breeze.I have learned james in my 3 years of woodworking ,you get what you pay for with tools. And you guys across the pond make some quality woodworking tools.Take it easy james.

Hi AL, no i don/t make my own blanks generally .But i have used offcuts to make pens for mates .[For example]i made a pen for my best buddy/s birthday it was the colours of his football team he has supported man and boy.He had a tear in his eye when i presented it to him.

Those are absolutely stunning!

"No Kreg joinery", but you could make something to hold the drill bit to extend it's life and keep it sharper longer.
