I really, really, really want one. But can't afford right now.

I've  been thinking of trying Kreg picket holes for a couple of years. Walked into Lee Valley Tools last week and couldn't resist buying this. Now I need to get some overtime work in my real life work (not cabinetmaking)

I'm thinking that something I make using mortise and tenons - that people have asked for copies of can be done faster with pocket holes and make it economical for me to sell at the price people are willing to pay.

Just saw a display of these in Lowe's yesterday. They had a stack of 5 or 6 of them on the floor at the end of an aisle in the tool department.

FYI, Lowe's has these on sale right now for....$179!

With all the tools?

Yes, the whole kit, exactly as pictured above. It had a "black friday" sign on the display for $179. So, even if the sale was for Friday only, they left the sign up and I imagine they would have to give it to you for that price

check what is  in the box before you buy it , may not be the master set ?????  The master set  is #5750 and the complete system  is #5500, check it out. !!!

I stopped and looked at it pretty good. It was the master system and included the face frame clamps

I think the one at Lowes is the one that includes the K4 system.  The Master Collection includes the K3 jig with the micro jig and the HD jig a few more screws, and a few more pieces.  I got the master collection off amazon earlier today for $264 but I think they have went back up in price.

Jerrod, what you say is correct , the kct5500 kreg tool box complete system is only sold at lowes with the k4 system.  The kct5750 , master collection  with the k3 system extra tools  and screws is the largest set. I checked with kreg customer service and this is what they told me about the different sets .  And Nick if they did mess up and put up the wrong set at that price I would go get one tomorrow. have a great day JIM

The set I saw had the K3 jig with the front clamping handle. If I didn't live 30 miles away from this Lowes I'd take a pic to show you all. It's the same set that was $239 the last time I was there. Lowes does sell the K4 and K4 master systems separately, but the K3 master is what's in the set I saw.

That would be a great deal, but the one that is listed on lowes website is the ktc5500 with a k4 in it and has a shallow tool box, it is listed at 179 with original price of 239.  They may have the wrong photo up on the website though.  The kreg toolboxx master collection doesnt even show up on their website, their product is called kreg toolboxx complete system.  I think it still is a good deal, but you will not get the same items.
