Miter Saw Feed Arm Extension

I have very limited work space and set up shop outside in the driveway. I have a low cost Miter Saw as my main tool. I bolt it to an old portable "Shop Smith" folding work table. I need a portable Saw extension arm and selected this as my first Kerg Pocket Hole Project. I selected Red Oak for the wood to make it as durable as possible. I have used it for three projects now and it seems to be working fine.

Thanks David,

I have since added a caster dolly for the WorkMate to sit on overnight when my work takes more than a day.  Recently the rain has driven me back and forth for cover.

Hey Buddy,  I think the miter saw arm extension is great.  I too hav a very small shop and do a lot of my work outside.  Kinda cold in the winter in Montana!!!  My shop is only 12x12 so I love seeing ideas to make "portable" work easier.  I'm definately going to be building one of these.  Keep up the great work!  Dave

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
