David,

The desmond family, and there must be heaps of them.

As they are always trying it on with me, but I,

a. Have no money, b. too old for that rubbish,

c. too busy with my wood work to be bothered

Its some sort of a scam

The kreg rep may be interested in them !!

Beware !!

Thanks Jay but belive it or not I wasnt even trying  for the shaker or mission style the woman whated a night stand for her bed room but the only room she had for it was right over top of a vent so the open rack was the only thing I came up with thanks again .

David, very nice looking furniture.  Like the design with the open rack type bottom shelf under a drawer.

The panel design of the sides with the open grid matching the bottom make it look  like "shaker" or "mission" style.  The two pieces are well matched having a grain effect that is interesting.  Very professional David.

Hello David,

If Off color oak,s botanical name is Quercus spp we know it in Australia as American Oak.

English Oak is available however I have never used any for projects yet

We have a variety of Oaks but it seems that everybody has a different name for them, so its not always simple to determine just exactly what the timber is without referring back to its botanical name.

The most attractive oak would be the Silky Oak but again its top dollar because of its limited stock

Regards
