Was thinking about making a 100% 2x4 project this week, thought I'd try and get some ideas here.  Post photos of projects you've built only out of 2x4's here!  Be sure to include any issues you saw, or other details about your project.

Bryan,

Nice table---tha'll come in handy.

I built these benches out of 2x4's, they are being used for plant holders on the back patio.

there's actually a couple of differnt books that's nothing but 2 x 4 projects. check amazon.

I have a tree in the back yard that looks very much like that. We call it "Mr. Tree"

Thank you, Ken.  We've gotten some good use out of it already and it has doubled as a two person bench the last time we had company over.

All of my dimensioned office furniture is built from 2x4s I used boards for the actual flat tops but all 2x4s otherwise. Here is the desk

Also believe it or not this project was made out of a single 2x4.

Chris,

Nice job!

Thanks for sharing.

Mark, have a look on Ana White's site - she has plans for both a hexa- and octagonal picnic table.

Another place to get ideas for 2x4s is at Chief's Shop: http://www.chiefs-shop.com/

he puts up a new sketch of something everyday and plans at least once a week often it is made using the kreg jig and dimensioned lumber.

Wow, Bob, I really like that chair.  I would like to build a few of them as gifts for some of my good friends.  What is the name & date of the magazine?  If it's not too much trouble. Thanks, Larry D.

I was just given some brand new lengths of 2x4's (freecycled) all of your projects are terrific.

But the one that most fits my needs are the patio tables by RCW, I love them, that is exactly what I needed, in fact I have one much larger so the smaller ones will look very nice next to it.

So thank you RCW from RTW, I know what I will be doing today.
