I have a hang up.  Hopefully someone can help me out.  I have built quite a few cabinets for folks, but I must admit that i always end up buying a corner cabinet for a lazy susan.  This go around I am building cabinets out of hickory and it has to be custom.  Does anyone have a plan on how to build a corner cabinet for a lazy susan??  I appreciate it!!

Hmmm...32 as opposed to only 24?  Okay, so then one more question if you don't mind.  If I go all the way to 32, will it have to be a pie cut?  My kitchen is like most others and storage is at a real premium.  I even built toe kick drawers on these!  Thanks for answering so quickly Justin,  I appreciate you!

Paula, Yes it will have to be a pie cut shape, also known as a kidney shaped, susan tray.  A 32 inch will just about totally fill the inside of a 36" corner lazy susan  Anything smaller is actually losing alot of the space in the cabinet and in many ways defeats the potential of a lazy susan cabinet.  The ones I use in the  cabinets I build are from "rev-a-shelf" and available at most cabinet supply stores. Rocklers also have them as well as several wood workers supplies.  I use the two tray one and they are first class giving you two independant revolving shelves with a self centering feature.  They are tuff and last indefinately and i have installed several as long ago as 20 yrs and no problems with them. They come in two popular colors, white and almond.  Hope this helps with your questions.

Thanks for the info Jay, I am grateful.  I really wanted to use the trays I have since they were given to me by a special woodworking friend but I hate wasting space to I will just find another place to use them.  I can't thank you enough for the drawing and the panel sizes.  I will have to adjust mine some but it sure gives me the best starting place I  have had.  I was afraid to try this the first time but feel much more confident now that I have this info.  Thanks a million1

If the shelf supposed to be cut off at a 45, wouldn't that make the sides smaller too?

You only lop off the part that fits into the corner which is behind the trays and wasted space.  Yes the sides are "shorter" but nothing that affects the overall size and function of the cabinet or trays if it is a lazy susan cabinet.
